About Me

Hi, I’m Marta — and I’m happy you’re here.
I created this platform to share yoga in a way that feels honest, supportive, and connected to the natural rhythm of life. TerraFlow is a space where you’ll find classes on yogic postures, breath, meditation, subtle practices, restorative sessions, short lectures, and more — all designed for different levels of experience and different seasons of your life.
Yoga is, at its core, a path of remembering who we are.
Through physical movement, mindful breathing, inner listening, and honest observation, we begin to notice the patterns, tensions, and emotions that live within us. With time, we learn to release what is heavy and soften into what is true. This journey has deeply shaped my life, and it’s an honour to share it with you.
I’m passionate about teaching in a way that is both clear and kind.
I love offering helpful content to those who want to deepen specific aspects of their practice, but I am equally devoted to supporting beginners — people who are just starting out and need guidance, structure, and a gentle nudge to make yoga a nourishing habit.
Class style
My live classes are Vinyasa-based — a method rooted in the teachings of Śrī T. Krishnamacharya, who introduced the idea of sequencing in yoga.
In Sanskrit, “nyasa” means to place, and “vi” means in a special way — which beautifully reflects the intention behind Vinyasa: to place the breath, the body, and the attention with purpose.
In these classes, we weave together:
Hatha Yoga asanas (postures)
pranayama (breath techniques)
mudras (gestures)
bandhas (energetic locks)
sequencing principles
moments of stillness and embodied listening
A typical flow includes grounding, dynamic warm-ups, stabilizing and balancing postures, spinal strengthening, seated integration, possible inversions, and deep rest.
My teaching is shaped by my personal practice and deeply inspired by the insights and methodology of my teacher, Talia Sutra, founder of the LAAIC school.

My Story
I was born in Italy in 1990, but it wasn’t until 2018 that my quiet search for balance and connection led me to my first yoga class — in the last row of a studio in Sydney, feeling clumsy and curious at the same time.
What began as a few minutes a day quickly became a steady, transformative practice.
By 2019, back in Milan, I chose to deepen my learning through my first teacher training, and I haven't stopped teaching since — both online and in person.
In late 2020, life brought me to Portugal, where I now live. I’ve taught in several studios, supported local events, and continued expanding my education.
Since 2022, I have been studying with Talia Sutra, and in April 2025, I completed the 300-hour YTT in Rishikesh, India, bringing me to over 500 hours of training.

Teaching Philosophy
I guide my students toward a deeper sense of observation and presence.
To me, yoga is a way to rediscover our natural qualities: openness, strength, calmness, clarity, and balance.
Even though I love movement, arm balances, and energetic sequencing, I care deeply about the subtle layers — the breath, the emotional landscape, and the inner awareness that shape the physical practice.
A practice done with genuine intention reveals the synergy between body, breath, mind, and the more delicate aspects of our being.
This is where transformation begins: not through pushing, but through listening.
My approach is warm, unpretentious, and friendly.
I teach with the intention of supporting you — exactly where you are.
A Closing Note
I am grateful to my teachers and to everyone who steps onto the mat with me.
This platform is an extension of that gratitude — an invitation to explore your practice with curiosity, kindness, and a sense of connection to yourself and to nature.
I’m excited to share this journey with you.
Marta
