We offer the restorative types of yoga as a nice balance to life and other power practices- not just yoga. If you have a physical job or a gym-based routine already then you might best be suited for our yin and restorative classes. But every single body, experience, and life is so different so it's really just about listening to your body.
When I worked 8+ hours outside, on my feet, and sweating all day, I was not capable of safely pushing myself through a power yoga class, so I opted for gentle styles and even meditation. So how much yoga is right for you? That's a hard one, I would say look at your activity levels, your current health status (injuries, etc.), and your energy levels. There's no doubt that power practices compliment a busy and tired lifestyle but it's about finding the right balance without burning the candle from both ends.
So when you're just getting started I suggest trying 1-2 clasess weekly and maybe even 3, epecially if you're feeling energized, excited, and active!
